Today, I wanted to share a concise guide on growing a channel to $30K/month.
Basically, I’ll outline the steps I’d take and the thought processes behind them.

LEVER 1: PROPER NICHE SELECTION
There are thousands of YouTube niches.
You can start a channel in literally any of them.
But here’s something SUPER important to keep in mind:
In my opinion, the best niches are those where you don’t need to rely on ad revenue.
“So how do I make money?”
- Offers
- Products
- Services
This way, you don’t need millions of views per month to sustain a living on YouTube.
The biggest income stream for my main YouTube channel is products.
This means I’m not at the mercy of the YouTube algorithm, and trust me, it’s much more reassuring.
The key takeaway: Choose a niche where you can sell products or services.
Not relying on AdSense is incredibly freeing.
LEVER 2: INCREASE YOUR ACTIVITY
This refers to how frequently you upload videos.
Sometimes, it’s as simple as posting more = more growth, revenue, and subscribers.
Other times, increasing your upload frequency may not have much impact.
Ultimately, it all depends on your niche and the style of videos you create.
However, I’d 100% recommend testing this—it provides valuable data regardless.
LEVER 3: MAKE LONGER VIDEOS
That’s right.
Longer videos = more mid-roll ads = more ad revenue for you.
It’s also an effective way to stand out from competitors in your niche.
That said, your longer content must:
- Avoid fluff
- Still provide value
- Be enjoyable to watch
Like everything else, this depends on your niche.
Your best approach is to test and see what actually works.
